Dr. Sellers is a licensed psychologist with a private practice in Allentown. Born and raised in the Lehigh Valley, she is proud to offer the highest quality psychological care to our community.
She earned her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from Chestnut Hill College in Philadelphia, a program accredited by the American Psychological Association (APA). There she earned additional certification in Psychological Assessment. She also completed her Master's in Health Psychology from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) and Bachelor's in Neuroscience from Cedar Crest College.
Since 2008, Dr. Sellers has worked with adults, adolescents, and children in a variety of settings, including hospitals, schools, universities, and residential programs. She completed her APA-accredited internship at Friends Hospital in Philadelphia, America's oldest private psychiatric hospital.
Dr. Sellers taught psychology courses for nearly a decade. Courses included Adult Personal and Cognitive Development, Lifespan Development, Psychotherapy Techniques, Psychopathology, Play Therapy, Assessment and Treatment of Children and Adolescents, and Research Methodology.
Her research has been presented at state, national, and international conferences and published in a peer reviewed journal. She is regularly featured on 69 News/WFMZ in an effort to destigmatize mental health concerns and treatment.
Dr. Sellers is an active member of Pennsylvania Psychological Association (PPA). She has held various leadership positions and received numerous awards from PPA over the years, including the 2020 Psychology in the Media Award. She is a 2020 recipient of the Forty Under 40 award from Lehigh Valley Business.
